Dry leaves keep falling on my head ...

My "American Beauty" moment ...

Anyone who lives in the University area knows that there is an abundance of trees that line the streets. As previously mentioned in the blog, winter is on its way. I walk to school through the residential area where the streets curve in unexpected ways and the trees hang over your head to block out the harsh morning rays. The trees are blushing and are changing hue. Gold and pink hang like decorative drapes over the road. Flashes of green can still be seen when the wind blows. The wind was blowing today. The leaves were abandoning their summer resting place and floating towards the ground. As I walked past the park the wind swept up a pile of freshly raked leaves and carried them in an eddy around my feet. They swirled past me and down my potential path towards my destination. I watched as they traced the steps I take every day. The pink and gold and flashes of red floated ... twisting around in an undefinable pattern. All of a sudden the wind died and they fell to the ground.
It was very strange. The cosmic powers that be were playing. It was really cool.
