Scattered
Ok ... so I have been doing a lot of reading lately on the subject of bibliography and the written word.
This has got me thinking about a lot of things.
First, If I am writing this now. While my body is in my house... my thoughts are immediately transferred all over the world. Anyone can access them at any time. What does this mean for my own sense of place and time.
This out let also means that my thoughts are reoccuring. They reoccur everytime I or someone else choosess to read this. What does this mean for the credibility and authority of what I have to say? Does the act of writing and transmitting them somehow make them better or more important than everything else that crosses my mind during the course of the day?
Second, because I have the means and abilities to put my thoughts on this "board" for people to read, am I participating in furthing the inequities and social injustices of the world by supporting a system that does not allow for equal access and distribution of ideas? How does (or should) this impact my political and social ideology?
I dunno .... lots of things running through my head, but the pasta is overflowing on the stove ... so I must return to this later.
